時君與我同齡，是山醫心內科研究生，我們一起碩士答辯，後來又一起在上二醫讀博士。他溫文儒雅，器宇不凡，今日忽聞心梗搶救無效，震驚之餘，又復悲痛。惟願生者保重，能夠白首相見。
意氣風發少年時，強學求道存真知。
書山有路同登頂，學海弄潮多健兒。
而今功成正不惑，君竟駕鶴向西池。
剎那陰陽兩重天，未言已覺淚痕濕。
For a Classmate
Mr. Shi and I were the same age. We first studied internal medicine together as master's students at Shandong Medical University, and later pursued our doctoral degrees together at Shanghai Second Medical University. Gentle in manner and noble in character, he was a man of uncommon grace. Today I learned, to my shock and sorrow, that he had passed away from a sudden heart attack despite every effort to save him. May those of us who remain cherish life, and may old friends one day meet again with silver hair.
